The Greater Sudbury AAA Co-operation Committee (the “AAA Committee”) wishes to announce that the following AAA staff positions will be opened/re-opened for Coaches and/or team staff for the 2018-2019 hockey season:

+Minor Bantam AAA- Head Coach +
This team has a full support staff committed and is looking to fill the position vacated by the Head Coach only. The existing team will be taken over; tryouts will not be re-run. June 24, 2018 - Minor Bantam head coach and Manager have been chosen.

+Major Midget AAA- Head Coach and Manager +

Please submit your coaching application (“GSAAACC-AAA Coaching Application”) by email or in person, by 4pm, Sunday, June 24, 2018.

CONGRATULATIONS to Pierre Labrecque in sharing the Rick F. Albert Memorial Award with John Zubyck for their efforts in the Initiation Program throughout Northern Ontario.


Our annual Midget Banquet / Volunteer Appreciation night was held Thursday May 3 at the Lexington Hotel.

9 Players were awarded $1000 bursaries:

Alexander Barry, Mathieu Dokis-Dupuis, Tyler Maki, Jackson McLean, Joel Mongeon, Calvin Patterson, Declan Rusgnak, Alex Vendette and Liam Williamson.

Joel Mongeon was awarded the Top Scholar award which provides him with an additional $250.

Calvin Patterson was awarded with the Tony DeMarco Bursary of $500 which goes to a Houseleague player that is a good citizen and able to keep his/her marks up as well.

The Gerry McCrory Manager of the Year was awarded to Dana Campeau of the Major Atom AA Wolves

The Mike Heaphy Coach of the Year was awarded to Eric Navarro of the Major Atom AA Wolves
